What data we collect
When a candidate completes an assessment, we collect their name, email address, the responses they submit, and aggregated behavioural signals (such as typing-speed variation, revision counts, and timing). We do not record raw keystrokes or the literal content of what is typed beyond the submitted answer.
Why we collect it
This data is used for a single purpose: verifying skills for hiring — assessing the quality of a candidate's work and the authenticity of how it was produced, so hiring teams can make informed decisions.
How long we keep it
Candidate personal data is automatically deleted six months after a submission, unless legally required otherwise. After deletion, anonymised statistical records may be retained with all personal data removed.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, delete, and export your data. You can exercise these rights at any time via our data request page.
Our role
Proveit handles candidate data on behalf of hiring companies using the platform. Those companies determine how assessment results are used in their hiring process.
Cookies and analytics
Proveit uses only essential cookies necessary to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
